About 3 weeks ago I ordered a JD4300 with HST, the dealer offered me 2500 trade in on my old harry Ferguson T30 produced in 1951. Tractor is in good shape and still pulls a Rhino bush hog through the toughest material with no problem. Since I have made the deal with the JD dealer, I find that there is a lot of interest in the old MAssey. Can anybody tell me whether the 2500 is a fair price or should I be looking for more. I should mention that there is a lot of interest, but nobody has offered me more.

My advice is....Keep the TO-30! They dont make em like that anymore. Is it in good shape? If so, I think its worth more than 2500. I have a 48 model TE 20 and Im looking for a new compact, but there is no way Im getting rid of the Ferguson. If money is an issue, I can understand selling it. But if not, keep it around. Im going to let my dad keep the Ferguson once I buy a new tractor, so at least it will stay in the family. But thats just my opinion.. Mike ....

KEEP IT!! Around here you could get $3500 but I would still not part with it. I tried to buy a TO-35 from a tractor jockey who knew I liked it so when I came back to make the deal he RAISED the price and was going to charge me for the top link! I left but still like the tractor and wished I could buy it for a fair price. ....

What is a fair price for a TO-35? I have one with a nice loader and it's in great shape. I don't really want to part with it but I need a 4X4 tractor (1/4 mile road with 7% slope and I live in snow country.) ....

I have seen them sold around here for $4000-4800 with a loader. I will say I don't see that many Fergusons with a loader. ....
